Pumpkin picking in Hampshire

Want to go pumpkin picking in Hampshire this Autumn?

Hubble bubble toil and trouble, I’ve updated my handy guide to the spook-tacular farms and fields offering pumpkin picking experiences every year across the county. Halloween is just around the corner!

Where to go in Hampshire

Something wicked this way comes! The pagan festivities of Halloween highlight a connection to the earth and the tradition of pumpkin picking welcomes Autumn and warm orange hues into the house. It also is usually the last of the sunshine before we descend into Winter. It’s the time to pull on tights again, dig out that chunky scarf and find your favourite knitwear.

Hampshire has plenty of locations to find your self the perfect pumpkin, some knobbly gourds and colourful squashes.

Pick your own pumpkins

A few things to note before you head out pumpkin picking in Hampshire…

  • The farms, shops and patches are in alphabetical order by location, so you can easily find somewhere to visit near you.
  • Information is still being released for the farms, so double check this information as it is likely to change.
  • Adverse weather warnings – the weather hasn’t been the best this year, keep this in mind when visiting the farms. Pack a mac and wear your wellies, it’s likely to be muddy!

I’m Bex

Welcome to Roam Hampshire!

It’s all change on this blog at the moment so sorry if it’s a bit hard to follow, I am working on it.

BUT…

If day trips and big eats are your thing, you’ve landed in the right place.

I’m Bex, I live in a beautiful county called Hampshire on the South Coast of the UK and I love living by the sea.

The county is famous for growing watercress, its maritime history and for being Jane Austen’s home among many other famous literary giants.

Take a look around to find top travel and food recommendations across the county.

Big Love,
Bex
